Fee-only financial advisors are compensated only by the fees paid to us by you, the client.
This allows us to work for you in a fiduciary capacity. It means we will NEVER sell you a product such as an insurance policy, nor can we make commissions off of any of the recommendations we provide to you.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of the items included in your comprehensive financial plan:
- Baseline financial review (Personal balance sheet and cash flow review)
- Student loan repayment analysis
- Education planning for parents and prospective students
- Insurance evaluation (Life, Disability)
- Tax planning
- Retirement planning and investments
- Estate planning
- Portfolio management, if you choose this option
- Unlimited email support
That’s OK too. After our free introductory meeting (virtual or in-person), if you feel you really just have one financial question to work through (a common example would be student loan restructuring), you can opt for the limited engagement option.
No problem! There is never a charge for our first meeting, which can be virtual or in-person. Discussing your goals and financial situation can help us figure out your next best step. Click here to set this up.
We do not believe in timing the market or predicting the future. Our portfolio management strategy focuses on controlling what we can, and not what we can’t: lowering investment expenses and reducing the tax drag on your portfolio. We also believe in diversification, and seek to maximize risk-adjusted returns for our investors.
Yes. Our virtual meeting software, Zoom, provides a robust client-advisor interface, which is of course supplemented by phone and email for efficiency.
